Keybridge Phase 2 development

Proposals to expand Wyvil Primary School into a four Form Entry and deliver new high quality homes.

Mount Anvil and Fabrica by A2Dominion are pleased to announce that we have now submitted a planning application to the London Borough of Lambeth for the final phase of the Keybridge development which will expand Wyvil Primary School into a four form entry school and deliver new high quality homes. These proposals have been developed in collaboration with the London Borough of Lambeth’s Investment and Growth Team and are supported by Lambeth’s Education Team and Wyvil Primary School.

Thank you to all of those who provided feedback on the plans during our public consultation which included a two-day public exhibition held in June 2017 at Wyvil School. We have incorporated your valuable feedback into the proposals where possible and will continue to keep you updated as the application progresses.

The Council will be undertaking their own statutory consultation on the proposals, during which time you will have further opportunity to provide comments by visiting the Council’s planning portal and searching for reference number 17/05311/EIAFUL.

Our consultation materials will continue to be available to view here.

Further details about the proposals can be found below.

The vision

Our vision is to provide Wyvil Primary School with the space to grow and deliver wider community benefits within a high quality, well designed final phase of the Keybridge development.

The scheme will deliver a new school campus and create 360 new primary school places for the local area as well as new high quality homes which will contribute towards the cost of building the school. These designs for this phase are being developed with the London Borough of Lambeth’s Investment and Growth and Education teams, and Wyvil Primary School.

Project objectives

  • Expand Wyvil Primary School from a 2FE to a 4FE primary school providing an additional 360 primary school places within a new campus at Keybridge.
  • New community facilities accessible out-of-school hours.
  • Enable a link between the two school campuses across Wyvil Road.
  • Complete the Keybridge masterplan with a bespoke new school building and playspace.
  • Deliver over 100 new high quality homes which contribute towards the cost of building the school.

More about the Keybridge development

When Mount Anvil and FABRICA by A2Dominion acquired the site in 2015, part of the site benefitted from outline planning permission for a new 2FE primary school. This parcel of land is now referred to as Keybridge Phase 2. The hybrid planning permission for the Keybridge site requires ownership of the Phase 2 land to be gifted to the London Borough of Lambeth.

In late 2015 Lambeth’s Investment Growth Team engaged with Mount Anvil and FABRICA by A2 Dominion to explore how the expansion of Wyvil Primary School could be delivered.

Over the past 18 Months, Mount Anvil and FABRICA by A2Dominion have collaborated with the Council’s Investment and Growth and Education’s Teams, and Wyvil primary School to develop the current proposals.
