Mount Anvil in the Community

As with all our developments in London, we are passionate about developing strong, mutually-beneficial relationships with the local community here in Vauxhall. Building and strengthening those relationships by holding ourselves to the highest standards of the Considerate Constructors Scheme, offering local companies the chance to tender for contracts on site and advertising vacancies and apprenticeship opportunities locally is all part of our commitment to leaving a positive legacy in Vauxhall.

Read on for more information on how Mount Anvil is working in and with your community.

Community Meetings & Events

Keeping you up to date with developments on site—particularly any that may directly impact you or the local area—is key. That’s why we provide regular quarterly newsletters for local residents detailing key works and important dates for the next quarter. We also provide supplementary bulletins for time-specific information between newsletters, such as the delivery of heavy machinery to site or details of traffic management changes.

We may also hold community events as necessary as work progresses, offering local residents the opportunity to talk to us directly and address any questions or concerns they may have.

  • Email KBHCommunity@mountanvil.com to request electronic versions of community newsletters by email as they are released.
  • Register now to receive notifications and alerts as and when event information becomes available.

Apprenticeship & Work Schemes

Mount Anvil will be working with King's Cross Construction Skills Centre (KXCSC), Camden's flagship skills centre, to provide apprenticeships on site at Keybridge. KXCSC will be recruiting for these apprenticeships from within the borough. All main subcontractors working on site will also be contractually obliged to recruit apprentices through KXCSC.

Other apprenticeship and work initiatives currently under development at Keybridge include Mount Anvil’s National Skills Academy for Construction, a landmark initiative backed by Housing and Planning Minister Brandon Lewis that will provide almost 100 apprenticeships, work placements and work experience opportunities for young Londoners. Mount Anvil Giving Back

One of our key commitments is to share our success with the communities that we live and work in, creating genuine relationships with local charities and community interest groups around our developments We donate time, expertise and money to help them make a difference to the local community. It's part of our legacy in London.

Between 2010 and 2014 we donated more than £500,000 to good causes in the capital. By the end of 2016 it will be £1m.
