We are the British Safety Council’s number one company in the UK for Health and Safety across any sector, a title we have held for the last two years. We hold the highest ever Health and Safety audit score awarded by the BSC (5 star rating, a score of 99.93%). The BSC has also recognised our world-class Health and Safety culture with two prestigious Swords of Honour.
Last year our commitment to workplace safety and care was recognised with three Considerate Constructors Awards, and this year we received a Gold Award for showing the very highest levels of consideration towards our site, our local community and our staff. We were also recently one of only 30 organisations worldwide to receive a BSC International Safety Award with distinction.
Keybridge is a joint venture from Mount Anvil and the award-winning FABRICA by A2Dominion. For information on FABRICA, see their website
26 of these homes will be affordable housing.
The existing Keybridge House building will be completely cleared using a safe, contained top-down demolition technique.
Scaffolding frames around the buildings will be covered using scaffold sheeting. This will allow work to continue in most weather conditions and protect the immediate area from dust and debris.
The project includes the creation of 441 new homes.
The completion of the Keybridge project is scheduled for August 2019.
Highly trained and experienced traffic marshals are responsible for overseeing the safe and proper movement of site traffic around Keybridge when and where necessary. See our Traffic Management Plan for details of day-to-day traffic management.
There is little parking provision for subcontractors on site, and all subcontractors are encouraged to use public transport to get in to work. Thanks to our proximity to a number of key public transport hubs very few subcontractors currently drive to site, and their contribution to traffic in the area is minimal.
We are committed to creating a culture of environmental awareness, care and shared responsibility amongst our people and our subcontractors. Where appropriate we use leading-edge pollution monitoring and reduction equipment. This includes technology to live monitor air pollution, dust and noise. For more information on our award-winning environmental commitment visit Mount Anvil’s dedicated health, safety and environment portal.
